I Believe…

• I believe in the God reveled in the Bible, as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• I believe God the Father created all things and desires a personal and growing relationship with all humanity. He is a just and loving God who is active in the world.

• I believe that Christ Jesus is the Son of God; Fully God and Fully Man, Coeternal with the Father.

• I believe Christ Jesus died for the sins of the world and rose again. Christ’s death and resurrection makes forgiveness of sins, a relationship with God, and salvation possible. He is the only way to heaven and will come again to earth.

• I believe the Holy Spirit is active in the world and in the lives of Christians guiding them and filling them with gifts and grace.

• I believe the Bible is God's own Word and truth, without error. Everything the Bible teaches and affirms is infallibly true. The Bible is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

• I believe the Bible should be the basis of the Church.

• I believe sin separates humanity from God. Sin is a rebellion against God, His will, and his guidance.

• I believe salvation is by faith through grace.

• I believe salvation is a dynamic growth process available to all people.

• I believe Christians should continue to grow and mature in their relationship with God throughout life. A relationship with God is a never ending process of renewal, understanding, and seeking.

• I believe reading the Bible and prayer are a necessary for Christian maturity and growth so they can be equipped to follow God.

• I believe all Christians are called to makes disciples by baptizing and teaching others about Christ through the Bible.

• I believe the church as the body of Christ is called to be salt and light in the world. The church should be relevant, compassionate, and focused on seeking God.
